WSP appoints new president

Engineering consultancy WSP has appointed Paul Reilly as president and managing director for the UK and Ireland with effect from January 2025. 

Reilly, who has served as WSP's deputy chief executive (UK & Ireland), will also join WSP’s Global Leadership Team.

The company said Reilly will lead WSP’s strategic priorities across the UK and Ireland in “critical growth markets” which include infrastructure, environment, water, property and energy. 

Reilly joined WSP in 2022 as managing director for planning and advisory. His latest promotion coincided with WSP’s appointment of Mark Naysmith, currently president for its EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) region, as global chief operating officer, effective January 2025. Naysmith has been with WSP for 35 years.
