Wessex kids are all right on smart metering

Wessex Water’s Young People’s Panel has provided "invaluable input" on addressing the customer experience during a future roll-out fo smart metering.

From discussions about overflows and sewer misuse, the panel suggested future customers are aware of and concerned by river pollution but had little understanding of the causes.

The panel was launched in 2016 and is is made up of sixth form students who spend time with directors and senior managers before being set real-life tasks. They return after a couple of months to propose their ideas.
