Waterwise launches summer campaign
Waterwise will run a campaign through August which aims to inspire, educate, and motivate domestic and business audiences on proactive water-saving actions, no matter the weather.
Come Rain or Shine will have a theme a week:
Week 1: understanding water scarcity.
Week 2: rainwater harvesting.
Week 3: energy & affordability.
Week 4: water-smart innovations.
Waterwise said the campaign will empower people and businesses with effective behaviour change techniques for water conservation, building a baseline for water companies' own messaging - and that of others. • Waterwise reported that Water Saving Week 2024, which ran 13-17 May, was a “huge success” with over 2400 downloads of campaign material, 58 mentions in UK online news articles and a social media reach of 1.8 million, including 3.8 million impressions.
