Water’s Worth Saving…in winter

Water UK will for the first time run its Water’s Worth Saving campaign through the winter.

The winter messaging will have a dual focus: to reduce the risk of a severe drought next summer; and to help households manage soaring energy bills. Water UK advised that a household of four could save £472 on the energy bills by deploying water saving measures such as taking a shorter shower and avoiding overfilling the kettle. It noted 81% of people are concerned about the cost of their energy bills this winter, according to a new Savanta survey.
