Writer: by Karma Lovedayby Karma Loveday

Anglian Water has formed a new Quality and Environment directorate which will focus exclusively on water quality,

delivering the company’s largest ever environmental investment programme, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Managing director of Water Resources East, Dr Robin Price (pictured), will rejoin Anglian to lead the directorate. Prior to his WRE role, Price was head of water quality at Anglian Water.

Anglian chief executive, Peter Simpson, said: “Customers and government have rightly set the bar even higher in their expectations of us as monopoly provider of an essential public service, and custodians of the environment. The separating out of this area of the business, and the return of Robin, means they can be reassured we are listening to them, and are ready and willing to rise to the challenge.”
