Water Plus bags gold for carbon reduction

Water Plus has won a gold award for carbon reduction in the Green Apple Environment Awards, for its work with organisations in England and Scotland.

The water retailer reported that the win – against some 800 other entrants – brings to five its 2023 tally of Green Apple Environment Awards and allied Green World awards. Both awards are organised by The Green Organisation - an international, independent, non-profit, group formed in 1994 to reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. 

Water Plus chief executive, Andy Hughes, said: “Our technical water expertise and customer information and support is helping to cut water waste across England and Scotland and to identify early, issues that may cause disruption.”
