Water chiefs past and present bag honours in Queen's list

One chief executive officer in the water industry and two former company leaders were among those on the list of recipients in in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Severn Trent chief executive officer, Liv Garfield was awarded a CBE for services to the wateriIndustry. Former chief at Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, Chris Jones, received the same award for services to the water industry in England and Wales while Richard Flint, lately chief at Yorkshire Water, picked up a CBE for services to the water industry and the environment.

Operations Lead at Water UK, Dr Jim Marshall, was awarded an OBE for services to the water sector during the Covid-19 response.
