Thames TV ad addresses leakage issues head on
Thames Water’s latest TV advert challenges perceptions of its attitude to leakage by emphasising the hard work of its front line teams who fix leaks around the clock.
The six-week campaign shows real repairs engineers, Danny and Tom, hitting the road in their van and fixing leaks while the rest of the world goes about its business, day and night. Thames said it repairs more than 1,000 leaks a week, one every ten minutes.
Head of brand and marketing at Thames Water, Alice Tow, said: “We know that customers are concerned about our track-record when it comes to leaks. That’s why we’re tackling the issue head on, investing millions to upgrade our Victorian infrastructure bringing it up to date for the 21st century, as this advert so aptly brings to life.”
