Thames names final list of contractors for AMP7
Thames Water has named the contractors for frameworks to carry out its clean and wastewater projects in five lots worth up to £4bn. The appointments are the final ones for the company’s AMP7 programme .
Thames said the projects will include schemes to up resilience to potable water supplies and to protect and enhance the environment. The frameworks are extendable into AMP8.
The appointments
Lot 3 (non-Infrastructure)
Galliford Try and MWH Treatment (London).
Lot 4 (non-Infrastructure)
Interserve and Mott Macdonald Bentley (Thames Valley).
Lot 5 (infrastructure)
J Murphy and Barhale (London – North).
Lot 6 (infrastructure)
Morrison Utility Service and Galliford Try (London – South).
Lot 7 (infrastructure)
Morrison Utility Service and Mott Macdonald Bentley (Thames Valley).
The awards follow appointments earlier this year for frameworks in two other lots.
Thames’ capital delivery director, John Bentley, said: “We have ambitious plans and are looking forward to working together to outperform expectations.
Thames, last year announced its decision to move its projects away from an approach based on alliances and to bring more activities in-house in asset management, programme management, project management, technical assurance and commercial management.
