Surveyor launches new utilities team

by Trevor Loveday

National chartered surveyors, Bruton Knowles, has launched a new Utilities and Infrastructure (U&I) team under a strategy decision to “play a vital role in contributing to the economic recovery of these two key sectors.”

The new team will provide property services across the gas, water, electricity, road and rail industries.

Managing Director at Bruton Knowles, James Bailey, said,”Many of the UK’s U&I structures require major refurbishment or replacing… These sectors need to look at long-term effective planning, with the use of digital technology and innovation.” He said the Bruton Knowles team will comprise “up to 50 key members” including surveyors, technicians, GIS analysts and land rights specialists.

“We recognise that project-led work is the norm for our clients today and so going forward, our new teams will mirror this,” he said
