Special Measures Bill heads to the Commons

The Water (Special Measures) Bill is now headed to the House of Commons.

The Bill had its Third Reading in the Lords last week and was passed.

All parties praised the Bill, and the debate and amendments included so far. Welsh legislative consent was also sought.

For the Government, Baroness Hayman of Ullock also confirmed the Independent Water Commission’s remit stretches to Wales, with Welsh Government approval.
