Southern Water has awarded contracts worth a total of £540m to three companies to improve its wastewater network performance.
The companies will be responsible for delivering essential frontline sewer services including responding to emergency calls and rehabilitating existing sewers.
The work will be across four lots: Lanes Group will be responsible for maintenance and manholes workstreams; Cappagh Browne will deliver on sewer rehabilitation projects; and McAllister Brothers will cover sewer sealing.
