Southern recruits SUEZ in greenhouse gas clean up

SUEZ and Southern Water have announced a formal agreement to monitor greenhouse gas emissions as the water company moves closer towards its net zero 2030 target.

Southern Water Services has secured the services of SUEZ to support net zero targets by monitoring and quantifying greenhouse gas process emissions. The SUEZ services will, Southern said, be delivered at three wastewater treatment facilities: Canterbury, Motney Hill, and Peel Common.

SUEZ will, Southern said, provide a “detailed account of its greenhouse gas footprint.”
