South West Water unveils new alliance partners

South West Water has unveiled a new alliance which includes six engineering firms “to bring the water company’s record investment programme to life”.


The partnership – dubbed Amplify – includes BAM Nuttall, Clancy, Mott McDonald Bentley, Tilbury Douglas, MWH Treatment and Network Plus Envolve as its main construction partners for South West Water’s infrastructure plan for 2025-2030.


They are joined by consultancy organisations: Stantec, Long O’ Donnell, and Turner & Townsend who will provide project management; Aecom, ChandlersKBS and Turner & Townsend to “ensure best value-for-money”; and Aecom, Arcadis, Pell Frischmann, Stantec and WSP to “produce innovative designs”.


South West Water’s chief executive, Susan Davy, said: “The alliance will be further strengthened next month when ten local companies are appointed.”
