South West Water launches £20m customer shareholding giveaway

South West Water (SWW) has started sending to eligible customers, details of how to apply for shares in the water company’s parent, Pennon Group.

The company has launched its WaterShare+ Scheme, to distribute the shares to SWW customers for free. This followed approval by Pennon shareholders at the annual general meeting on 31 July.

The £20m scheme will provide customers with shares to the value of £20 each. A prospectus setting out the WaterShare+ Scheme Offer is available on Pennon’s website.
