South East Water secures five star sustainability rating

South East Water has secured a five star rating in the latest GRESB assessment, which recognises outstanding leadership in sustainability among infrastructure and real estate businesses.

The company increased its score in the 2021 Infrastructure Assessment for the water and sewerage sector, for the third year in a row, and is now in the top 20% of the benchmark.

South East Water pointed to its “lasting commitment to building a responsible business reflecting the inbuilt culture of the business” which has included developing ten additional responsible business commitments as part of its business plan for 2020-25 and creating a dedicated responsible business board committee in 2019.
