South East Water appoints Atkins to AMP7 programme

South East Water has appointed engineering consultant, Atkins to its five-year, AMP7 engineering, environmental and asset management investment programme. Under the programme Atkins said it will “apply information-led services to reinforce South East Water’s vision of becoming the water company people want to be supplied by and work for.”

Under two major lots of South East Water’s AMP7 programme Atkins will provide: engineering, environmental and water resources delivery services; and asset management, hydraulic modelling, leakage and programme assurance services.

Water Market Director at Atkins, Richard Whale, said the company will “unlock our shared digital potential and create an innovative partnership with our client.” He added: “As Customer Measure of Experience embeds in the industry, it is essential that water companies provide a resilient and affordable service.
