Skills partnership reports on a first year of renewal
The Energy & Utilities Skills Partnership has reported successes in the strategic aims of its building its Workforce Renewal and Skills Strategy 2020-2025 in its first year including building recognition, delivering new competencies and boosting jobs, training and diversity in the UK utilities sector.
In its first year report on the Skills Strategy, the Energy & Utilities Skills Partnership said it had produced some 1.6m case studies for prospective recruits to the energy and utilities sector on its Energy & Utilities Jobs, website where it had upped traffic by 80%.
The partnership reported its delivery of a hydrogen competency framework commissioned by government as part of the transition from natural gas to hydrogen. And it said 48 sector employers had signed up to its Energy & Utilities Inclusion Commitment.
