Severn Trent Water appoints new customer operations director from within

Severn Trent Water has appointed a new director of customer operations.

The water company’s current head of water treatment, Steph Cawley (pictured), will take up the role of capital and commcommercial services director in May 2023 leading Severn Trent’s largest directorate with 4,000 staff responsible for water and waste operations, waste water recycling, water treatment, bioresources, network control, water quality and environment.

She will succeed Dr James Jesic who will move to capital and commercial services director on 1 May 2023.

Crawley joined Severn Trent in 2018. Previously she spent 16 years at BT in a variety of roles including field operations.
