Severn Trent Group invites bids for environmental framework

Severn Trent Group has launched a new tender for an environmental framework to support its nature, environmental and carbon ambitions.

The company said it is looking for “creative, innovative, specialist suppliers of nature-based, environmental and carbon-friendly solutions” particularly for its capital investment programme.

Severn Trent has invited local and national suppliers of any size who can support their work in designing, building, operating, and maintaining projects under the following categories:

• wetland treatment and reed beds;

• chemical reduction; and

• natural flood management.

Capital delivery and commercial director at Severn Trent, Helen Miles, said: “Finding specialist suppliers who have the skills and expertise to help us reach our carbon, environmental and nature ambitions, is absolutely crucial. We’re looking for suppliers in each of the categories, who will think and do things differently.”
