Severn Trent appoints Emma Clancy as head of strategy, transformation and environment
Emma Clancy is to rejoin the water sector as head of strategy, transformation and environment at Severn Trent.
Clancy led the Consumer Council for Water as chief executive for three years, and since then has been chief executive of Salix Finance, which provides funding to public buildings and social housing for energy efficiency and sustainability investments.
Before these roles, Clancy was director of care at building products manufacturer BMI and chief executive of Certsure, a voluntary regulatory body in the electrical contracting and energy sector which is focused on raising standards.
Clancy said of her new appointment: “I am proud to be joining the amazing Severn Trent team and looking forward to playing a part in helping to deliver their ambitious plans for the future.”
She joins on 14 October.
