Sector departures
• CCW’s chief executive, Emma Clancy, has announced her departure from the consumer watchdog at the end of September to take up post as chief executive of Salix Finance where she will champion the the delivery of energy efficient public buildings and social housing.
Clancy joined in July 2020 and has transformed CCW’s approach and campaigning credentials. CCW highlighted her leadership of the independent review of water affordability in 2021 as a particular achievement.
• MOSL’s chief information officer, John Davies, will leave at the end of September to join the executive team and board of a London-based software company.
Chief executive, Sarah McMath, thanked Davies for his significant contribution to advancing MOSL’s technology estate and in-house capabilities, and for driving a step change in the market’s approach to smart metering and data quality improvements. She said recruitment was underway for a successor and the handover will be smooth with no impact to MOSL services or improvement programmes.
