SDS buys Albion Water from Wessex
Wessex Water has sold Albion Water to SDS Water Infrastructure Systems.
SDS will keep the Albion brand and staff, and provide uninterrupted service to Albion’s 3000 customers.
SDS managing director Patrick Cullen said: “The realities of a climate change emergency demand a committed and determined response to build flood resilience and reduce water consumption. With the acquisition of Albion Water, allied to our market leading water infrastructure technologies, we are in a unique position to deliver a truly integrated approach to the management of this precious resource.
“We are looking forward to working with our new colleagues to ensure Albion Water continues to drive the New Appointment and Variation (NAV) market forward though innovation, great customer service and delivering on developers’ and the public’s needs.”
Albion Water was the first competitive NAV set up in 1999 to compete against incumbent water companies, and has an identity associated with innovation and sustainability.
