Scottish Water unveils pumping station design with “certainty of technical approval"

Scottish Water has unveiled a pumping station design service which is claims bring “certainty of technical approval from the very outset.”


In a collaboration with water technology firm, Xylem, the water company’s sustainable development subsidiary, Scottish Water Horizons, has produced a “pre-approved”design service which is said will enable housing developers to speed up their programme delivery.


According to Scottish Water Horizons’ operations manager, Colin Lindsay, “By introducing a standardised design solution, we are confident developers will benefit from improved programme times and certainty of asset adoption.”
