Scottish Water picks BPD to lead asset management project

Scottish Water has appointed BPD Zenith, to “drive its asset management transformation” as part of a six-year, £5.8bn strategic maintenance and improvement plan.

Under the contract, BPD, which has 30 years in enterprise asset management, will work in partnership with Scottish Water “to streamline operations, maximise asset performance and efficiency, and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality water and wastewater services to all its customers across Scotland”.

Scottish Water said it has 2,500 planned projects in progress to improve drinking water quality, protect the environment and support economic growth.
