RSK adds MWH Treatment to its run of water sector acquisitions

by Trevor Loveday

RSK Group has acquired MWH Treatment for an undisclosed sum.

RSK said MWH Treatment will retain “its leadership team, all employees, its highly respected brand and its existing cultural values.” MWH Treatment currently operates across the UK water industry 800 staff engaged in six major frameworks.

RSK founder and chief executive officer, Alan Ryder, said: “The water sector is of huge importance to RSK and its strategy, so I couldn’t be more pleased to welcome MWH Treatment into the group. The company’s reputation across the UK is impeccable, and I see countless opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the group.”

The addition of MWH Treatment is the latest in a string of acquisitions by RSK over the past two years in the UK water sector. Others include Water Research Council and Binnies (formally the UK and Asia water businesses of Black & Veatch).
