RSE partners with Biomatrix to progress green solutions

Water technology company RSE has partnered with ecological water management system specialist Biomatrix Water to advance nature-based solutions in AMP8.

Biomatrix focuses on natural approaches to improve water quality, enhance biodiversity and create sustainable ecosystems. The partnership, which involves an equity investment by RSE, is part of RSE’s pivot to support mature nature-based solutions.

Steve Slessor, RSE’s chief executive, said: “Nature-based solutions are essential to achieving environmental objectives, and by incorporating Biomatrix’s expertise, we can deliver modular, scalable solutions that address storm overflows and enhance water ecosystems across the UK and internationally.”

Galen Fulford, Biomatrix managing director, called the partnership a “natural progression” as it follows several years of collaboration. The companies are both headquartered in Scotland and share common focus on modular design, low carbon recycled materials and innovative solutions.
