RoSPA recognises Portsmouth Water for two decades of safety excellence

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has awarded Portsmouth Water an Order of Distinction for achieving 20 consecutive Gold Awards for exemplary health and safety performance.

Commenting on two decades of safety excellence, Portsmouth Water chief executive Bob Taylor said: “Achieving 20 consecutive Gold Awards is an incredible milestone for us, and I would like to thank every member of our team for their focus and commitment to keeping each other, our contractors, and our customers safe. We are never complacent when it comes to safety and are committed to further improve and enhancing our approach in the years ahead.”

The process required a comprehensive review of health and safety systems, processes, culture, communications and performance for the 2024 calendar year.
