RAPID agrees to six-month delay for Grand Union Transfer scheme

RAPID has agreed to a request from the Grand Union Canal Transfer team to move the date of its gate three submission back to May (from December 2024).

The delay will enable a Direct Procurement for Customers application and an Environmental Impact Assessment scoping report to be submitted ahead of gate three.

There is no impact on the water into supply date of 2032.
