Campaigners collaborate to issue a "public declaration" on sewage

Clean rivers and seas campaigners across the country have collaborated to issue a ‘Public Declaration’ demanding protection of waterways.

Surfers Against Sewage, Windrush Against Sewage Pollution, River Action UK, WildFish, Whitstable SOS, Save Windermere and others have demanded"

“stop pollution for profit;

make our waters healthy and safe again;

action now not targets sometime;

regulation that protects the victims, not the polluters; and

now it’s time for the polluters to pay.”
