Pennon wins accreditation as a Living Wage Employer

The Living Wage Foundation has certified Pennon Group, as an accredited Living Wage Employer meaning every member of staff working for the company earns a minimum of £9.50 an hour.

The independently calculated real Living Wage is higher than the government’s minimum, or National Living Wage, and and is based on the actual cost of living. It is calculated each year by the Living Wage Foundation.

Pennon’s chief people officer, Adele Barker, said: “We believe responsible businesses today have an important role to play in promoting social mobility, addressing inequality, and providing secure jobs.”
