Pennon Group appoints new financial chief

Pennon Group has appointed Steve Buck as its chief financial officer.

Buck (pictured) previously held the same post at Anglian Water where his remit covered finance, treasury, regulation, and transformation. He has “significant” regulated utility and energy sector experience from senior roles at Centrica and British Gas, following an earlier 16-year career in the water sector.

Pennon said Buck’s insight and experience will be “invaluable to Pennon as it now works with regulators to complete the smooth acquisition and integration of SES over the next year.”
