Ofwat finds no issues arise from new minority owner at Portsmouth Water

Ofwat is consulting until 25 September on its view that a new minority owner at Portsmouth Water and Leep Networks does not pose any issues or require additional protections to be introduced.

The change of control took place in July, when Swiss investor Vontobel Holding AG acquired a substantial minority stake of the shares in Ancala Partners LLP, the ultimate holding entity of Portsmouth Water and Leep Networks.
