Ofwat declares only one sixth of performance commitments potentially suitable for PR24

Only one-sixth of bespoke performance commitments proposed by water companies for inclusion at PR24 are potentially suitable, according to Ofwat in its assessment of companies’ April submissions.

Ofwat has identified seven (see table) of the 42 bespoke commitments submitted as potentially suitable for further development.

Most of the others, which were received from 12 companies in all (four firms opted not to put forward any bespoke performance commitments ) were deemed to be too overlapping with common performance commitments
