Ofwat consults on changing self-lay metrics in developer experience tracker
Ofwat is consulting until 5 March on changing D-MeX, its measure of developer experience, to reflect new metrics relating to the services provided by water companies to self-lay providers (SLPs) and the adoption of water assets.
The plans, for implementation on 1 April, propose changes to both the quantitative and qualitative components of the self lay metrics within D-MeX. This follows changes already implemented last year on New Appointment and Variation (NAV) metrics and sewerage adoption metrics.
D-MeX is a common performance commitment which applies to the 17 largest water companies in England and Wales. It is designed to incentivise companies to improve the service provided to developer services customers, including property developers, self-lay providers and new appointees.
