Northumbrian turns to digital for 2020 Innovation Festival

Northumbrian Water has issued a global invitation to people to take part in its latest annual innovation festival which starts on 14 September as a digital version of its three predecessors owing to Covid pandemic restrictions.

Northumbrian is anticipating that the five-day festival will draw “hundreds of people from all across the globe to virtually collaborate and tackle complex societal and environmental issues.”

It said there will be more than 30 different activities including sprints and workshops under the festival theme of Build Back Better, many in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
