Northumbrian launches water savings calculator

Northumbrian Water has launched a new online water efficiency calculator for customers.

Users will complete a short questionnaire about their consumption. They will then be given a full personalised report which shows exactly where they are using the most water, and provides a checklist showing the amount of money that could be saved by taking specific water saving actions.

As part of its net zero agenda, the company is targeting per capita consumption of 118 litres by 2040, down from the current 166 litres.
