Northumbrian appoints three new non-executive directors
Northumbrian Water has appointed three new Independent non-executive directors to its board.
The new directors were formally appointed to the Board in April 2021.
The new appointees are Richard Sexton, Alan Bryce and Bridget Rosewell.
Sexton is a non-executive director of the International Integrated Reporting Council and Co-Chair designate of the Value Reporting Foundation. Previous positions include former lead partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and vice chairman, Global Assurance.
Bryce is a non-executive director with a number of utility firms largely in the energy sector. Current and former non-executive directorships include Scottish Water, Infinis Energy and Viking Energy Shetland, where he was chair. He is a past managing director of ScottishPower Energy Networks and ScottishPower Generation.
Rosewell – a commissioner for the National Infrastructure Commission, and chair of Atom Bank and the M6 Toll Company, has previously worked on HS1, Crossrail, Crossrail 2 and HS2. She is a former chief economic advisor to the Greater London Authority.
The appointments follow the departure of two non-executive directors, Margaret Fay and Simon Lyster, who had reached the end of their formal term of office in May.
