Northern Ireland Water picks Jacobs as partnership framework design consultant

Northern Ireland Water has selected Jacobs as a design consultant for its Major Project Partnership Framework, to deliver large-scale water and wastewater projects across Northern Ireland.

The framework will deliver individual capital projects, including upgrades to major water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and network mains. One of the first major projects to be delivered under the framework will be upgrades at Belfast Wastewater Treatment Works, expected to start this year, to boost secure capacity for the region.

The framework will run initially for four years with the option to extend it by four years.
