Multi-capitals Network publishes principles paper

The Water Sector Multi-capitals Network (WSNcN) has released Principles of multi-capitals approaches to decision making – a paper designed to support consistency, alignment and better decisions as multi-capital approaches grow in the water sector.

Various approaches towards multi-capitals accounting are in play. The group contends that multi-capitals approaches should be comprehensive, trustworthy and useful. It hopes the paper will help guide practitioners on what the principles set out mean for them and their organisations, and how to ensure multi-capitals approaches are driving better value.

The WSNcN is a cross-sector group spanning the UK and Ireland, with a mission to “drive a multi-capitals approach to realise a greater value from the water sector in the UK through thought leadership, influencing and co-creating solutions.”
