MOSL seeks inflationary budget lift for its draft business plan

MOSL has published its draft 2022-25 business plan for consultation.

The plan covered core service delivery and improvement programmes. The nine strategic programmes in the current plan have been reduced to the following five: Bilateral Transactions Programme; Strategic Metering Review; data insight; modernisation of market facing systems; and Market Performance Framework reform.

Member approval is sought for the first year (2022-23) budget. This is flat in real terms but driven up by 2.9% by inflation to £11,400k. £9,675k is budgeted for core delivery with £1,725k for improvement programmes.

The consultation is open until 25 January. MOSL intends to publish the final plan for member voting on 8 February.
