MOSL appoints new non-executive director


MOSL has appointed Philip Marsden as a new Independent non-executive director of its board and chair of its remuneration committee from November 2021.


Marsden (pictured) is currently deputy chair of the Bank of England’s Enforcement Decision Making Committee, and case decision maker at the Financial Conduct Authority’s Regulatory Decisions Committee; the Payment Systems Regulator and Ofgem.


He is Professor of Law and Economics at the College of Europe, Bruges, and a member of the Treasury’s Digital Competition Experts Panel, writing the Furman Review: Unlocking Digital Competition. Marsden is a non-executive director of the Guernsey Competition and Regulatory Authority, and a former member of Ofwat’s Case Committee, and the Ofwat Future Regulation Advisory Panel


He will take up his position on 1 April 2021.
