Morrison Water Services wins two lots in Northumbrian Water framework

Morrison Water Services has won two long-term framework contracts for capital works on water and wastewater network infrastructure projects at. Northumbrian Water.
The three-lot framework covers work in the capital delivery programme for Northumbrian Water and its Essex and Suffolk Water arm.
Morrison Water Services has been appointed to two lots of the three-lot framework, each worth £10m to £50m said the contractor. They are: water and wastewater network construction and engineering for Northumbrian Water’s operating Area (Lot 1) and water treatment construction and engineering for Essex and Suffolk Water’s operating area ( Lot 3).
The works will include new assets, renewals, modifications and refurbishments for capital works for water and wastewater networks infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Morrison said the water and wastewater networks infrastructure projects will include sewer-flooding schemes, strategic water mains and sewer refurbishment and rehabilitation. Non-infrastructure projects will include, water, sewage and sludge treatment facilities, pumping stations, boreholes and service reservoirs.
