M Group appoints new water division managing director

M Group Services has appointed Iain Sutherland as its Water Division managing director.

M Group said that since his recent arrival at the company Sutherland (pictured), had “taken steps to strengthen the technical capability focus in the Water Division’s four operating businesses: Morrison Water Services, PMP Utilities, ID Systems and Z-Tech.

Sutherland has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Civil Engineer in the water and highways industry, with “extensive large project expertise”.

He was previously with Balfour Beatty, where he most recently was project director on its Lower Thames Crossing project.
