Luke Pollard to step back temporarily from Defra role

Shadow environment secretary Luke Pollard will temporarily step back from his Defra role to focus on his constituents in the Keyham community after the tragic shootings there.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer tweeted yesterday that Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner will look after Labour’s Defra work for the next month, and that Pollard (pictured) will be back for the Labour conference.
