Leaky loos consultation delayed again

Defra and the Welsh Government have announced a further delay to their response to a 2022 consultation on the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.

This consultation, which ran from August to October 2022, covered faulty toilet valves that cause a loss of water and what could be done to improve them, as well as changes to toilet specifications to prevent the likes of back flow in cisterns and clean/foul water contamination.

The governments first announced their response was delayed in December 2022 and again last week.
