Irish Water seeks 700 new staff in biggest-ever recruitment drive

Irish Water (Uisce Éireann) has announced its biggest-ever recruitment drive. The company is looking for 700 skilled personnel and is targeting tradespersons, recent graduates seeking entry-level positions and Irish workers overseas who may be interested in returning to Ireland.

“This is the largest recruitment announcement made by Uisce Éireann to date and reflects the scope and scale of the activities we are carrying out nationwide” explained  Dawn O’Driscoll, Uisce Éireann’s people and safety director.

She said management was looking for people with diverse skillsets to play their part in delivering “transformative water services”.
