Infrastructure authority appoints former Thames director as lead
The Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) has appointed former Thames Water director and Clancy chief commercial officer Jon Loveday as its new director of infrastructure, enterprise and growth.
Loveday (pictured) will start his role from early August, overseeing the evolving portfolio of the government’s most complex and high-risk infrastructure projects including HS2, Northern Powerhouse Rail, the construction of new nuclear and the nuclear decommissioning programme.
He has over 30 years experience in the infrastructure sector, including in water, telecoms and energy. A chartered surveyor, he most recently held the role of chief commercial officer for the Clancy Group and is a former executive commercial and transformation director for Thames Water.
