GHD joins with Black & Veatch in bid to boost UK growth

The UK Water division of GHD has reported a “significant step” in its growth plan for the UK in joining forces with engineering, consultancy, Black & Veatch to support contractor, Galliford Try, on Thames Water’s AMP7 capital programmes framework.

The partnership will support Galliford Try in design and construction across all its activity on the infrastructure and non-infrastructure initial lots of Thames Water’s £2.6bn framework. The contract is for the 2020-2025 duration of AMP7 with the potential to extend for a further five years into AMP8.

The infrastructure work includes refurbishment, replacement and provision of sewers, potable water pipelines and pumping station assets through to the inspection and maintenance of aqueducts and tunnels. Non-infrastructure work is fundamentally the improvement of potable water and wastewater treatment assets.
