Galliford Try restructures to support water sector growth

Construction group, Galliford Try, has restructured its environment business to meet growth demands in the water sector and to support clients’ needs to address an ageing asset base and environmental objectives across the lifecycle of their assets and operations.

The business now comprises two business streams:

• Asset Creation which includes the business’s core design and build offering across water and wastewater treatment facilities, geographically split across three business units; and

• Water Technologies, which comprises acquired companies Lintott, MCS and Ham Baker with a focus on advanced equipment manufacturing.

Both streams will report to managing director, Stephen Slessor, who has led the Environment business since 2021.
